Overview:

The Amarnath Yatra is a revered pilgrimage to the sacred cave of Lord Shiva, located in the picturesque Himalayas. Thousands of devotees embark on this spiritual journey each year to witness the natural ice Shiva Lingam that forms inside the cave. This package offers a seamless journey, including accommodations, meals, transfers, and guided assistance to ensure a safe and memorable experience.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

• Arrival: Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel or houseboat.
• Check-in: After check-in, relax for a while.
• Sightseeing (Optional): In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, visit Mughal Gardens, or explore the vibrant Srinagar markets.
• Overnight stay: At a hotel or houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar to Pahalgam / Baltal

• Morning: After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Pahalgam (for traditional route) or Baltal (for the shorter route) by road.
• Pahalgam: If taking the traditional route, Pahalgam is about 95 km from Srinagar. It is a scenic hill station where you can rest and prepare for the trek the next day.
• Baltal: For those opting for the shorter trek, Baltal is approximately 93 km from Srinagar. It offers a much shorter trek to the cave.
• Overnight stay: At a hotel/tent in Pahalgam or Baltal.

Day 3: Amarnath Cave Darshan

• Early Morning: Begin your trek to the sacred Amarnath Cave. The trek from Baltal is about 14 km, while from Pahalgam, it is a longer, more gradual journey.
• Helicopter Option: For a quicker journey, helicopter services are available from Baltal or Pahalgam, which require prior booking.
• Amarnath Darshan: Reach the holy cave and seek blessings of the ice Shiva Lingam. After darshan, spend time absorbing the spiritual ambiance and breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
• Return: After darshan, trek back to Baltal/Pahalgam.
• Overnight stay: Return to your base at Baltal or Pahalgam and rest.

Day 4: Return to Srinagar

• Morning: After breakfast, check out and drive back to Srinagar.
• Leisure Time: Spend the evening exploring Srinagar, visiting the local markets, or relaxing by Dal Lake.
• Overnight stay: At a hotel or houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 5: Departure

• Morning: After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar airport for your departure, concluding your holy Amarnath Yatra.
